Seller and I have agreed in principle on a deal. I ended up having to pick up all his Pontiac motor bits - another block or two, some non RA heads and a few other things.
I still haven’t laid eyes on the parts and don’t have numbers but I hope to pick up all in the next few weeks. Will post details here of course.

(I just re-read the whole thread)
So you were hoping for a 1969 block, and got a 1970 block; Care to share which engine code it was? OR if you have a partial vin to tell us which plant (and thereby which body style) received it?

Ended up with:
4 bolt 400 WS, partial VIN 20Z137XXX - Fremont built, which makes sense. Motor is said to have come from Albuquerque NM. 2 bolt 557 WT block, partial VIN 26N524XXX 6X Heads, November 1976 dated, stamped 4 (100 cc chambers) 9773524 Nodular crank, late 1967 400 4813 Nodular crank, 71-74 400 16 heads, July 1968 dated, 400 or 428 heads, 72-75cc. Will be listing everything for sale except for the WS. thanks

Heads ended up being 15's, not 16's. I think these are the ones Cliff R prefers for his iron head builds. PHS has been ordered. Should have it tomorrow. Thanks Scott

Block is from a 1970 Judge, RAIII, 4 sp, Pepper Green with black interior. Sold new at Erickson Pontiac/Oldsmobile in Farmington, NM.
Just got the word back on the block - there's a crack in the lifter valley that can be repaired, but it will run about $250. Also, the block is currently .040 and a few cylinders may not clean up at .060. The guy that sold me the block is ok with a partial refund and taking the block back. Curious to hear what y'all would do. 1. Get the partial refund. 2. Get crack repaired and sell it. 3. Get crack repaired, bore and/or sleeve as required and sell it. 4. Sell it as-is. Thanks, Scott
