Default Help, please: RPU272A 1968-1972 Polyurethane Body Mounts

RPU272A 1968-1972 Polyurethane Body Mounts

The catalog states "This kit contains bushings but NO sleeves." I assume this is to imply that you are supposed to add sleeves to them. Are you supposed to re-use originals, or what?

Also, anyone have any input on this product? How is the ride/handling with these? Are these bushings graphite-impregnated? (The catalog states that the suspension polyurethane bushings are graphite impregnated, but does not specify for the body mounts).

Anyone want to talk me into going with OEM rubber ones instead?

Chris

Chris,
RPU272A is graphite-impregnated and that kit is what the note reads. It includes bushings and hardware but no sleeves for the mounts. So yes to use these poly bushings you would need to re-use your original sleeves.

Crap. I think all but 4 of my originals went into the trash. Whoops.

I guess you don't carry separate replacement sleeves for these?

Thanks for the reply!

energy suspension makes poly urithane with graphite and they come with new sleeves and bolts for around 60 bucks. Summit racing sells it or your local autozone does also.
