Default 1971 GT-37 For Sale with 1968 Lemans Parts Car

Just recently picked up a 1971 GT-37 that I was thinking about keeping but since changed my mind since I already have another 1971 GT-37 that has factory a/c and would rather have the a/c car. This car has what appears to be a 1969 350 with a 4 bbl carb. Factory 3 speed manual trans with the Hurst floor shifter. Has PHS documentation also. Borrowed some items off my other GT-37 and got this engine to run. Actually drove the car around in my back yard. Shifts fine into all gears. Has no brakes from sitting. Currently has bucket seats that someone installed but they matched the factory vinyl pattern of the rear seat and are not ripped. Missing a few interior parts including the gauges and dash wiring and headliner. Had a factory gauge cluster with tach. Car will need a full restoration. Floors have some rust. Had a trailer hitch at one time and the guy cut a piece of the frame rail off when removing the hitch. Have a 1968 Lemans body shell with a good frame that I wall include. The Lemans has decent floor pans, rear tail panel and was a factory bucket seat car. Have a black bench seat in very good condition that can sell for extra. Both cars have a clear title.

$2400 or best offer for the pair.

Here is the PHS for the GT-37

How much for the 68 lemans body? Do you have a clear title for it?
Thanks,
Jim

I do have a clear title for the 1968 Lemans. It has a nice solid floor pan (was a factory bucket seat car) that still has the seat brackets welded to the floor pan. Nice solid frame and rear tail panel section behind the rear bumper but other than that the body is not that good and was stripped of most parts by the prior owner. Currently a running and driving car with working brakes but I have not had time to pull the 400 engine and 400 trans yet. I need to get $400 for the rolling body.

$2100 or best. Will consider possible trades.

If I cannot sell this car I may consider cutting it up and parting it out. I would hate to do that but am getting tired of people calling that want to trade or buy the car but never show up after they get my address and we set up a time to look at it. I guess these days some people's word does not mean much.

The high bidder on ebay did not contact my son as of yet. The car may be available if this guy is a dead beat bidder.

Car was for sale on Ebay and we had a dead beat bidder that won the auction and did not follow through or contact my son until a day after the auction was over. He wanted to have the luxury of having someone inspect the car 4 days after the auction ended and never gave a deposit on the car. He has 7 days to figure that out. Now it will probably cost me $125 for ebay selling fee anyway.

Car is still available.

$1800

Contact ebay about the deadbeat bidder, you won't get charged the final value fees. Not sure if I got any other fees back the last time that happened,

Waiting for ebay to contact my son. Funny thing I heard is this guy will be able to leave negative feedback for my son but my son won't be able to leave any negative feedback for this dead beat.

Hi, the car never sold...I ended up trading it for a nice 1999 W68 Firebird, set of C4 Corvette wheels, Complete 4th Gen Camaro interior and a 6.0L Chevy engine.
