Pontiac "Pace Car"
Picking up a '68 Ventura 2dr ht tomorrow that has been sprayed in GM platinum metallic. The hood needs to be sprayed yet and a suggestion by the body guy was to mimic a 60's Pontiac pace car that he had seen that was silver with a flat black hood and flat black bars on the sides of the car...may have also had a black vinyl top. I've looked all over the net an have not come across any Pontiac close to fitting that description. His description sounds almost like the '78 corvette pace car, but that was more of a black over silver two-tone.
Does that description ring a bell for anyone? Thanks! Todd |
