mig 75/25 gas
Is there any danger in using my mig if the bottle of gas is very warm to the touch?
The temp in my make-shift garage gets into the 90s and at times the bottle is exposed to the sun. Just want to be sure it is safe to use when its that warm. |

You are good to go. These bottles sit outside at the fill stations in the sun, rain hail and snow. They are extruded steel and damn near indestructable. Also when gas exits the tank you get a slight cooling effect on the bottle due to the pressure drop.

Its a shielding gas non-explosive. No Danger at all.

As others have said, the shielding gas is inert by design IE, not explosive or reactive. It also has a low coefficient of thermal volume expansion, meaning the pressure won't spike really high if the bottle gets kinda hot, like 125F or something.
A nitrous bottle on the other hand, is the type of bottled substance to be careful. As bottle temps exceed 100F, the pressure can really spike due to N20's properties.
