Highbuild primer over DPLF
I have used K38 and k36. Is one better than the other? Paint supplier tells me they both work fine and have worked great for years so far! Looking for what u guys think ? Is one better than the other , or am missing something even better?? We only use 100% PPG products. Thanks, Jim rstcustomauto.com

I've always used K36 with nice results. Haven't tried the K38.

K36 and K38 are very similar products. K38 is a higher solids material therefore it can build more total film. Below are the differences in solids.
K36 Total Solids by weight (RTS) 53.4% K36 Total Solids by volume (RTS) 38.2% K38 Total Solids by weight (RTS) 62.5% K38 Total Solids by volume (RTS) 41.1% RTS = ready to spray
