Exclamation 497cid REAL PONTIAC Sell/trade

497cid
Factory 455 crank offset ground/lightened with sbc journals 4.35" stroke
Custom 13:1 CP pistons with 427 Ford sized piston rings
MGP aluminum Rods
455 Factory block filled to a little above freeze plugs/sonic checked cylinders/custom fit lifter girdle/ steel main caps/Scott Sims timing plate with Rollmaster gears & chain.
279/287@.050" .704"/.704" 110LSA ULTRADYNE Roller
1.65 Harland Sharp roller rockers with stud girdle
061 Factory Heads(originally modified by Butler, then touched up a little by Greg Merrick)Flowed 294cfm
a slightly massaged Victor w 1050 Dominator now modified to run E-85
MSD distibutor
Oil scraper and customized trap door MOROSO 8qt oil Pan
other stuff I can't remember right now!
This engine with a smaller cam and minimal tuning made 675 CHP and over 500RWHP with the WRONG convertor. Turned 10.25 on 110 octane gas in a 3550lb car with FULL exhaust. A better tuner than me with a 3400lb or less car and the right convertor should EASILY run NINES!!!
This is a freshened engine that has not been completely reassembled, so far just the shortblock

$9000 OBO or trade for a streetable engine that could reliably spin to 6500rpm and propel my 3400lb car into the twelves plus some cash ooorrr??????

Let's start a dialogue if you have any interest!

Do you Remember who did the crank work?
Man this engine was an inspiration to me back in 2009 iirc you had stayed with Factory iron and were going Damn Fast with it, i remember you mentioning the 4.233 bore 4.35 stroke was wayyy better than the typical 4.185 bore 4.5 stroke, Im really Surprised you are selling it!

Exclamation This Bullet needs a new home!!!

This is one serious PONTIAC engine. Show YOUR COMMITMENT to PONTIAC POWER by taking over this engine and letting it do what it was made for; shredding tires, poppin' wheelies, and showing lesser brands what SERIOUS TORQUE can do!

You Know You Want To.
