Default Fuel Regulator Mounting

I recently purchased a fuel regulator kit from Pontiac Tri-Power (Mike Wasson). The kit contains a Holley adjustable regulator with a bracket and all other items needed for installation. My 65 GTO looks fairly stock and I want to keep it that way. 389 Tri-Power, no PS or PB.

I was hoping someone else had some photos of how they routed the lines and mounted the regulator and gauge on a 65 with no PS or PB. The only photos they have are for a 66, which is different.
Thanks for anybody that may be able to help.

If you have a Mechanical Fuel Pump, (I assume you do), Mount the Holley Regulator just above the fuel pump and no one will even know that it is there. You really only need to adjust the pressure once. I made a new supply line for the Filter/Tri-Power feed line with a regulator and used the other outlet to temporally plumb a fuel pressure gage. Once I had the pressure where I wanted it I plugged the "pressure take-off"
location. Course you could mount the gage under the hood somewhere kind of out of sight. Never in the passenger compartment though.

(The red plug in the image is the location where the fuel pressure take-off line needs to go. Then plug it later.)

Fuel comes into the bottom and out the two locations on the sides. Plumb the other location up to the fuel filter.

Thanks Tom. So it is okay to mount it between the fuel pump and the filter then? I could live with it mounted there as it wouldn't be in your face when you open the hood. Now I just have to find somewhere to mount the bracket in that area. Where did you attach yours?

I made a bracket that mounted off the Front Fuel Pump bolt and positioned the regulator right above it.
