I ran a tripower on a 10:1 400 once. The cam I used was a Summit 2802. It ran great and idled great. Tons of torque.

I ended up using the ‘68 #16 heads for the build. Not doing anything too crazy, just want a nice cruiser

I have to order new ones- I am supposed to meet with the engine builder after he takes it all apart. Not sure what the compression will come out to as it is.

So getting back to topic I bought a 2801 summitt cam two years ago never used it now I would like some help on choice of 2801 or 068 cam 400 with #16 heads about 9.7:1 compression my only thing to consider is my valve springs will have to be changede for the 2801.

Any thoughts?
