Like I said I’ll probably use 15-40 as a compromise but nevertheless thank god our mornings are not that cold. If it goes below 40 people freak out. If it snows it never lasts more then a day. In 1988 we got barely what you guys would call real snow that lasted and it crippled the state for two weeks

Stock engine with low lift cam, steel rockers and soft springs w. low revs will live 100K miles.
Aluminum rocker arms and stiff springs will fatigue and fail. Roller lifters are a crap shoot in the long run even if you drive it like a granny.
