Default Radio issue help needed

My 72 Formula 8 track works and plays just fine.But my am/fm red dot radio lights up but doesn't play any sound.It used to work so it's plugged up correctly.Does it sound like it's fried or is there away to check it ?

needs to be serviced..out put resistor or resistors are fried...common problem
