Default Body side molding removal

Guys how does this molding come off the car.....you can see it in the pic below in my signature...thanks Chris

Some of them are just held on with 2-sided foam tape. If yours are, you're lucky. Some heat and a length of fishing line will get them off.

Many are pop riveted, though. If that's what you've got (and from your picture, it looks like it), you'll need to pull the rubber contact surface out of the aluminum carrier to expose the rivets. Then drill the rivets out. And then you're left with holes in your car.

Well I popped out the rubber insert for the molding ....and the trim is actually screwed on....managed to get most of the screws out but I will need to drill a couple ....
