Default Interior door upholstry plastic anchors

Window track in my '61 wagon let go. Got that fixed yesterday. New problem.......all of the little plastic oval anchors that press into same sized/shape holes in the door metal are rotten and falling apart.

Know of any replacement for them in the aftermarket world????? Or anywhere??

Does Ames make them??

I remember a carpet supplier up north.......is he still around?

Oval Grommet available thru Ames for one source PA220D.
They are designed for 7/16" or shorter "nail" length. Don't ask me how I know this trivial fact.....

Default 10-4,,,,,

Thanks for the input. I looked through about 200 different modern ones at a NAPA display......Nothing doing there. I will pursue........You wouldn't happen to have Ames phone number at hand??

Interesting user name......do you have one of the guns??? I have an AC Spark plug version and a Russian DShK sitting beside that. I got the AC Spark Plug gun from an estate in the DC area. Owner was killed in a beltway car crash and had the gun with him at the time. Of course, the DC cops confiscated it. Not sure how the estate got it back.....

Nope, out of my budget now, but spent time belting and feeding rounds for one in the past.
