Window track in my '61 wagon let go. Got that fixed yesterday. New problem.......all of the little plastic oval anchors that press into same sized/shape holes in the door metal are rotten and falling apart.
Know of any replacement for them in the aftermarket world????? Or anywhere?? Does Ames make them?? I remember a carpet supplier up north.......is he still around? PJH |

Oval Grommet available thru Ames for one source PA220D.
They are designed for 7/16" or shorter "nail" length. Don't ask me how I know this trivial fact..... |

Thanks for the input. I looked through about 200 different modern ones at a NAPA display......Nothing doing there. I will pursue........You wouldn't happen to have Ames phone number at hand??
Interesting user name......do you have one of the guns??? I have an AC Spark plug version and a Russian DShK sitting beside that. I got the AC Spark Plug gun from an estate in the DC area. Owner was killed in a beltway car crash and had the gun with him at the time. Of course, the DC cops confiscated it. Not sure how the estate got it back..... PJH |

Nope, out of my budget now, but spent time belting and feeding rounds for one in the past.
