Removing the clock on a tach equipped G/A
I am waiting for a copy of the 74 Pontiac service manual to arrive. Meanwhile, how does the console-mounted clock assembly detach? The aftermarket cd player in my 74 is junk, and may be causing a short, so I want to remove it. I know how to remove the panel the radio is mounted in, but I don't know how to get the clock out of the way.

It just unsnaps from the radio housing. It's really that simple.

I thought it was that simple, or I'd break something thinking it was. Thanks Rick!
