I am in the process of resoring a set of 73 grillshell inserts some of the examples I have seen are painted differently. The stainless trim is perfect but someone painted the inside of the grill body color(White).I have seen the inside of the grill painted argent silver(or the equivilant) and the back eggcrate portion of the grill is painted black is this correctfor a T/A?
Does eastwood or somebody offer paints that are close to origional? Any advice is appreciated
Thank You Mark Ball

A '73 T/A should have grills that are entirely black. Standard Firebirds used gray grills.

The grills on my '73 don't even appear to be painted. They are molded in black plastic.

My '73 T/A grills are also molded black plastic.
