2013 CO-VENTION Dayton, Ohio
Hurray!! I just received my July Smoke Signals Magazine with some good news!!
POCI and GTOAA are again going to have a CO-VENTION in Dayton. Dates are July 9-13, 2013. Location will again be at the Nutter Center, where the 2009 CO-VENTION was held. I, for one, think it's a great facility in a city near the center of the country, so there should be A LOT of attendees. Go to www.gtoaapocinationals.com for more information. God willing, I'll be there with my '64 GTO.

Drag racing will be at the same strip as 2009, Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio.
This time I WILL visit the aviation museum!! Ohio is a whole lot closer to center than Colorado, where the GTOAA Convention is this year, unless you're from the west coast, of course.

This is Great News! My wife and I had a GREAT time in 2009, wonderful venue, very nice showing of cars and spectators. Look forward to another great show in 2013, already making plans.

I think it should be free to make up for the rain out on show day 2009, but only if you drive more than 1500 one way miles like we did.

Thanks for all of the positive comments everyone! We are very excited again to be hosting this monumental event. Just finished the week in Loveland, CO at the GTOAA Nats and response was overwhelmingly positive from both the membership, vendors, and sponsors. We will have an information booth in St. Charles during the 3rd week of July. The website will become populated with more data and information in the upcoming week. Electronic registration will be available for both national organizations beginning August 1st. We plan to do it bigger and better than 2009. STAY TUNED!

WOW! I just got my Smoke Signals... a big thank you goes out to Don Keefe and Paul Bergstrom... I certainly wasn't expecting 3 full pages of '13 Co-Vention coverage, including the back cover. That will certainly help us get the word out!
