Not my car. But I don't see many 73 GTOs for sale this clean. I often wonder if the cars that have auto trans with column shift often lean towards a more reserved/mature owner. I guess it always depends on the history of the car and how it was passed down and how the car was used. Whether it was neglected or well maintained.

Fair price, but that column shifter/bench seat kills it for me, and that I think Ascot Silver is a terrible color.

I don't mind the colors, but I agree on the column shift automatic and bench seat.

But it is a nice looking example, and looks to be in very nice shape.

I think all of these low option cars coming out of the woodwork were older\mature owner cars that sat in a garage getting driven minimally and no one wanted (due to the aforementioned column shifter\bench and no AC, etc situations) and now people are trying to unload. They're not bad cars... just... need a bit more for the money if I'm buying.

Lol, I don’t mind the bench seat and color. I don’t care for the wheel covers, though...then I’m always paranoid about who worked on the engine...being a 455 is ok by me!

Price is too much regardless of all our objections!

Jeff, you making any headway on your wagon?

One thing that seems odd to me is the bench seat in the Sport Coupe body. I thought all Sport Coupes got buckets and console. Maybe it could be ordered with the bench? It'd be interesting to see the build sheet.

I actually like a bench with the center fold-down armrest, and column shift...just thought it's unusual to see that in a Sport Coupe body.

And a minor thing, but bugs me to see the air cleaner snout facing the wrong way, and without a correct lid.

Looking at my 73 dealer brochure, it says the standard seat in the Sport Coupe was a bench, so I guess Sport Coupes didn't have to come with buckets after all. I've seen so many SC's with buckets and console, I just thought that was standard on them, and that the bench was standard on the just the plain Coupe.
