That's an amazing car you have there... If I thought I could get what I paid out of my Lemans, I'd buy this one up in a heartbeat! You don't by chance want to trade for one that's worth about half of yours do you? I mean... mine is a 2DR post... haha

Good luck with the sale, hopefully it fetches what it is worth!

Thank you all, it hit reserve today, well worth it, still has 5 days. Now, i just hope when it ends, high bidder comes through with the cash.

Somebody got a heck of a deal on this nice car. Sorry I couldn't move the T/A so it could sit in my garage until spring! Keep me posted if it doesn't get paid for from your high bidder.

thanks,
Joe

I have a bad feeling about this one. He asked for vin # 1 day before auction ended, and i wouldnt give it to him. When i asked him what he needed it for, cause its a little late in the auction to run a phs, he said he wanted to run a carfax on it! Now he keeps asking a bunch of questions that i have already answered several times. I've given him my phone # twice, yet no calls. He says he wont give me a deposit till he gets the vin. Sounds like a scam to me. For what purpose whould you need the vin for? So my guess is this is a no sale. So i'm gonna finally run a phs on it so everybody will know exactly what it is!

Tell him older vins won't show up on carfax.....not enough digits in the vin for it to work.

Maybe he's trying to get a car loan at a bank?

He can find the info on the CARFAX site and look for "What Is A Vin" on main page.

Here is their words:

Every car and light truck model year 1981 or later has a unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN). A VIN has many important uses, including unlocking important information about a vehicle's history.

Notime,

That's exactly why the Ebay thing is a pain. I hope it works out for you and the biggest concern is that it goes to a good Pontiac home!

Joe

I had a guy in the shop on tues. and said he was willing to give me 10, and at that very minute, a friend calls me and says it hit reserve so i couldnt sell it to him, which was fine, cause he was in the middle of telling me that he would like to put chrome wheels and headers on it. I basically told him to go look for that camaro he wanted!

If I had a buyer ready to hand over the cash I wouldn't hesitate to do the deal who cares about ebay......end the auction. You wound up taking it up the pipe because of a typical ebay nitwit. Ebay no longer has a sellers best interest in mind anyway.

Once a buyer hands over the cash does it really matter what they do with it?

If you would, post the PHS (or PM me) the PHS details.

Thanks,

I may have a buyer from the board here since the ebay guy never contacted me, he is running a phs on it and will let me know what he finds, then i'll let everyone else know.
