Bruce,

It appears that this Can Am is not the same car as the one that Keith's friend sold. This one, while also being a 403 Olds powered Can Am, has factory 7" Snowflake wheels, and is missing the stripes.

That really is an entirely different Can Am even tough it IS a 403 CA and it IS located in the same area...snowflokes, no stripes, probably repainted and if you look at the CL ad the interior looks different (with power seats)
Anyway, I'm really glad I got Gary's CA!

BTW shipping won't be from the east OR the westcoast....
The Can Am will be shipped in a container from Houston, TX.
With all the damages I've seen on container shipped cars I'm crossing my fingers, praying she get's here without incidents.
Guess I'll have to wait a month or 2....

Thumbs up

Hi Keith,

No there will no problems whatsoever with spare parts in the trunk.
So all the extra parts can come along for the ride.
(If I had know this earlier I probably would have ordered some extra parts for the Can Am)

BTW, Keith, If you know someone in your area who has all 2011 and 2012 Pontiac High Performance Magazines for sale, I'd be very interested in em. My last issue was Oct. 2010.
They could come along in the trunk as well. That sure beats shipping a stack of magazine overseas by USPS Airmail which costs a fortune.
Gary gave his to a friend.

.

Don't know anyone in OZ who's shipped from there Erick. I'd really appreciate it if you could PM me or give us a report on this thread about your experience after you take delivery.
Thanks, Peter.

Keith; I believe she's still in the port of Houston awaiting further action.
So far I haven't received any details on when she's going to be shipped out.

Guess they're collecting a number of cars destined for Holland to fill a container, then wait for the next vessel leaving for Northern Europe.
So the waiting game continues.......

taalltheway; Yes, if we have the chance we should meet sometime.
Maybe at one of the Street / wheels nats shows if I get a chance to got there...

Tambo; I'll let you know how the whole shipping process went as soon as she gets here..
