I'd use that '70 Bonneville as a daily driver until the snow falls.

We are getting our one or two days of snow today, so I'd be driving it daily 363 or 364 days a year here in Oklahoma.

IF I was a single guy,
I'd cash out my IRA for that 2+2 and have it restored. But... My favorite year of B bodies.

I'd be making an offer on the 4 door, if it wasn't 1000 miles away...

I bought that '70 Bonneville, i've been looking at it for awhile. The guy I bought it from is a Pontiac guy and bought the car out of a local Judges estate. It was bought new in Ritzville and never left town until yesterday. Plans are to add long branch manifolds, 2.93 posi and dual snorkel air cleaner to help that 455 breath.

Wow, how are you getting it home??? I had a 64 Bonne is similar condition, but the 70 really appealed to me being a 455 and having a TH400, and in such good condition. Hope you post about it, when you do these things to it!!! Man having disc brakes makes that a perfect car, for what it is, to me!!! My 64 was a 4 door hard top also! If you pass through Oklahoma and need anything, let me know!!!

I really wanted a 2 door but I bought this for 1/2 the money of what a 2 door would have cost. Most people hate a 4 door but I look at it as a plus, same ride but 2 extra doors. This is my 455 Catalina I had a while back, I'll probably take a month and clean it up the same. Last edited by se428bandit; 11-15-2018 at 02:28 PM. |

That's the first big car I've seen with the factory 8 track on the transmission hump. Very cool.

I had the car delivered and clean it up a little. I also found out some history on the car. The Original owner was a superior court Judge in that county he was from, he bought the car 4 years before his retirement and died in 1988. It sat in the garage from 1986 (when it was last tagged) till the guy I got it from bought it 5 years ago.
