There are going to be 2 problem areas. The most obvious is the rear windows, 74 in flat, 77 is wrap-around style, so the interior trim pieces will be different. Other problem is going to be on the door panels. The sheet metal on the doors is stamped different because of the different styles of pull handles. You can get around this by rivoting a portion of sheet metal with the correct contour from a 77 door onto your 74 door.
I used 77 doors on my 74, kinda the opposite of what you are doing. |
