low coolant light keeps coming on
i got a 2000 Pontiac grand prix with the supercharger here.
upon turning on the engine the low coolant light comes on and stays on until operating temp comes up..... the coolant level is correct before starting and after warm up,,,,, any ideas? also where in the low coolant sensor located? thanks |

The sensor should be in the tank (the right side, I think) of the radiator. They go bad regularly.

I've replace this sensor on a friends car before. LPete is correct, it's located on the passenger side tank of the radiator.

There's a little wire clip that holds it in that will need to be removed before the sensor can be taken out. Kinda hard to see it.
