missing body mount bushing
The middle body mount bushing on the passenger side of my 69 Firebird is missing. I just noticed it. I have no idea why. Everything seems to be lined up ok so I have no idea why it wouldn't have been installed.
So now what? I suppose I could use this as an excuse to replace all of them but honestly they aren't in bad shape. Do you think I can just loosen the other 2 to crate a little space and slip a new one in? |

I am sorry to say I agree with Clay, but if you want to try and install one I have been able to loosen the others and get just enough room to slide a damaged one out, and a new one in.
Good Luck, I hope we are both wrong.

My experience suggests you will be correct. I will let you know what I find. Thanks

I am wondering if the bolt snapped. If the nut is stripped or the bolt snapped, this could lead to extensive metal work to the floor to fix it correctly.
