Default dome/brake switch

Anyone up on wiring...
Bare with me,,
In the wiring book, it shows;
fig, 12-6 orange-splice, feeding the brake switch..
fig, 12-10 shows the same.
fig, 12-8 orange-splice, feeding the dome light..
But in fig, 12-14 it shows that the dome light is being fed from the cir. and clock circuit.
As I am pulling my main loom apart it is in-fact fed by the cir. clock circuit..
I pulled 2 other looms apart and they are the same way... the dome light is being fed by the cir. clock fuse circuit....
Also in all 3 looms the orange wire feeds the flashers, brake light switch connector and to the rear body wire connector and that's it ! !

Any inside.....
Thank's.
