that is a beautiful car. I love the color especially with the black top. were they sad to see it go? I imagine they were really sad as to how fast time went by since they bought it new.

You can always "clone" your Formula into a "girly car".....

Loose the rear spoiler and bolt on a flat hood.....and you're good to go......

OK.....loose the shaker/hood.....cover the VIN on the dash.... so nobody will see the X.....and leave 2 plug wires off....that will make your SD "worthy"....

It's TOUGH to be a REAL creampuff.......but worth it.....

I'm just gonna pull that gas sucking boat anchor 455 and throw in a nice little SBC 350 with a 2bbl. I'm gonna toss the scoop.. and pop rivet some sheet metal over the hole...That should save a few bucks..

I was going to suggest that....but didn't want to hurt your feelings.....

SOMEBODY down @ the yacht club will prolly want your 455....Jaguar engines are getting harder to find.....

Looks like a very nice car, indeed

UOTE=2manyT/A'S;5381503]Sounds like there are a few on the forums here.

Time to come out of the closet,guys.....

Cream Puff definition: 70-73 Firebird....Base model OR Esprit.....LOW mileage,UN molested,.....ORIGINAL....350 2bbl........"girly car"....NO scoops,spoilers OR performance options.....

Here's MINE.....

Found it locally on craigslist about 4 years ago.....
Didn't even call on the car for a week....hoping somebody else would buy it....

Just KNEW that if I went to look at it...I WOULD....and guess what?....I DID......

It's a 72 Esprit Anaconda Gold....prolly first day build....Vin under 100......one cheap "color enhanced" repaint ....with just under 48K on the clock.....Plug wires are original 71 date coded Delcos....note original front PLASTIC valance....

Bought the car from the "estate" of original (woman) owner.....still alive but not driving anymore....

It runs and drives like a CHAMP....[/QUOTE]

48K, I know it is "just an Esprit" but I am weird about driving it, like I don't want to jinx it making it this far.... biggest kick: (weird one) sound of the doors shutting, and lack of sounds also when doing (sounds / feels like new).

72 it is. Finally got the PHS. It is an original side stripe car (and they look original).
Typical 350 auto set up. AC, tilt and gauges. Original rallye wheel car, have them put away.
