I believe the mirror mount (reinforced area) is different on a 70 compared to the 71-72.

I was wondering if you found the door you are looking for? I have a buddy in the Atlantic city area who has a pair of really nice doors. They are in his storage garage hanging up. I'm due to go down there in a week or two and can bring it/them up to you. I only have 1 picture of them I can send to you. Let me know... Mike

I have a very nice 71-72 driver door I just took off my 70 GTO. Been sitting in my garage waiting for me to post for sale.
