Does anyone remember Darrel Yoder from McAllen TX?
Darrel Yoder was a Pontiac dealer in McAllen TX and some claim he was into the early lightweight Catalinas.
I've purchased a pretty rare GTO from his dealership and was wondering if anyone had any family contacts, photos or other memorabilia from Darrel's dealership. The person who ordered my car from Darrel's dealership was a life long employee that started at the dealership when he was 17 years old and worked there until he retired. Can anyone offer any input? thanks in advance for any help! Carl |

I talked to Him in the early 90's and later in years a few times.
I sold him the First 70 GP SSJ in the early 90's. Good luck with your search for items and information . Maybe others will chime in with help. It might be helpful to run ads in that area to see what you can find. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

I remember him. Visited his place with Joe Evans once and boy what a stash of parts, and cars, he had. Actually he wasn't the owner of the dealership I don't think, it was his grandfather, and was sold before Darrel retired. If I remember correctly Darrel said he got a '58 Bonneville (in '58) for his senior year in high school.
I can't help with memorabilia or pictures, etc. |
