That's a pretty good life for any mechanical fuel pump. I start to look at them as suspect at the 10 year mark. If planning a long road trip with that particular car I'll swap it.

Default ethenol blended fuel

In Texas they only use alcohol blended fuel during the summer time. Winter is straight gas due to the moisture of winter time.
I believe it is that way in all 50 states. Run VP during the summer. Better fuel anyway.
Run your car on some VP and notice the difference. Worth every penny in cost. Plus it will last a year easy.
I don't even run pump gas in my chain saw let alone my old cars.

I have run the ethanol fuel in all my cars and never had a carburetor or fuel pump issue in any of them.

Of course, now that I said that I am doomed to have both failures.

You will. E10 gas killed the fuel sender on my '71 T/A. After two years with E10 in the tank the pickup tube and resistor can turned into a brown rusted mess. It
was perfectly clean and still bright silver plating when I pulled the tank and sender two years prior.

I'm fixing another lawn mower engine with a carb that is all plugged up with a white build up in the jet and sediment in the bowl. I've seen one carb where
so much water dropped out of the E10 gas that it crushed the brass float when it froze during the winter.
