I can't remember the name of the company but there's a racing company that was reproducing the SD engine blocks and heads etc for roundy round racing. Maybe someone can tell you but I think they are still making the parts. They may be able to get you the parts you need. Sorry I can't remember but maybe someone will let you know. It's a well known engine building company.

No I don't. But have a line on a new bronze distributor gear if that would be helpful?

Have you checked ebay, I see couple roller cams, performance intake gaskets, set of forged pistons in there.

yes..but cant find roller cam bearings...i have an SD engine for a sprint car thats brand new, it was built and sat together for over a decade, when it was all easy to get...now its been so long, it has condensation pitting in one cylinder and i may have to do something...may have to bore it or one sleeve..just not sure yet

i want to get some stuff located..my machinist isnt sure he can remove the bearings in it with out killing them..so before we try..id like to find a set..its 5 bearing and they are roller, for the cam

it has H beam rods, forged crank an SD head with JE forged pistons, edelbrock carbed intake, with a wicked roller cam...came nearly complete, but someone pinched the rocker system and push rods..along with the Pontiac alum valve cover...need one of those too...

I do appreciate all the help..id like to get this together..i have a 63 tempest located..and thinking...i need to hang a turbo and a cam change..ive been wanting to do something like this for 2 decades at least..and its all just falling together..

and i paid $300 for the motor..the guy had no clue what it was, he's a scrapper and pulled it out of a garage from a racers estate...was going to the shredder...

Have you tried posting on Pennocks Fiero Forum? There are a few SD4 owners over there and every now and then there are parts being sold.

Have you tried Vanderly ? Paul passed away in 2011 so I didn't think they were still doing these but the gentleman I sold my last lot of SD4 parts to, said he had been dealing with them.
Last known contact I have:

Vanderley Racing Engines
23525 Ashleigh Drive
Gulfport, MS 39503
(228) 539-5454

I looked in my old docs, but don't have a part number for those bearings, just a photo.

He's about 1 hour from me but I have no use for the parts. They look neat though..
