GM is really screwing up.
The 2019 Silverado is ass ugly. They've never made a bad looking Silverado, up until this point. The 6th gen Camaro refresh looks like a transformer, and they're making the Corvette mid engine, which I think it terrible. Wtf is going on over in Chevy world?

At least Chevy got rid of the hideous over-sized square wheel wells. But that truck is indeed ugly.
Dodge continues it's run of making the best looking trucks by far.

Should have been Try-power.
4 cylinder turbocharged motor that uses cylinder deactivation to run on only 2 cylinders? Um, okay.

I'm not understanding where the "tri-" part fits in: 4 cylinders, 1 (or 2 - it's not clear) turbos?

Dodge is killing GM. They're killing them in the advertisement department too. While GM runs these ridiculous ads with that limp wristed host, Dodge is showing Hellcats ripping around cities and their trucks actually working.

The "tri-power" is supposed to highlight the "3 Technologies" used in the 4 cylinder engine.

I was talking to a Mopar guy at the cruise-in last night about this. He thought it was particularly funny that the “tri-power” badge is going on the smallest engine. Kind of like putting the “SS” badge on the entry-level econobox.

GM is screwing even more after their screw up of getting rid of Pontiac, and yes Oldsmobile too.
Just wait, in 2020 GM will make the turbo 4 standard in their trucks.

At least ford did something half-azz with the SuperDuty name . Too bad no one had a licensing trademark for the name Tri-Power |

That would be nice but it could only happen if Pontiac came back, and be for the GMC trucks only. Chevy could go take a hike seeing they're one of the main reasons Pontiac is gone. And Buick will/would never make a truck.

I love square body Chevy trucks! I recently sold my 73 K10 that I was restoring. It had a 5.3 LM7 with a TH350/NP205 combo. It went pretty good.
