Indoor car cover
Not sure this is the right place to ask, but was just curious what folks were using for indoor car covers. I have a cover for my '70 that I used on my old '70 (more than 10 yr ago). It is a heavy-duty cover, but I don't need/want to use it anymore. My car is always indoor, so I am really looking for something a bit lighter and maybe easier on the paint. If that makes sense.

My car stays parked inside the garage always. I have a mid level indoor style cover from California Car Cover. It is a bit stretchy and fits perfect. I think it was a little under $300. I just got a new catalogue from them and they have a variety to chose from. I bought a cover brand new in 1982 for my then new firebird from Beverly Hills Motoring accessories. Company is out of business but I am presently still using the cover on my TATA project in the shop. I get my moneys worth out of them!!

I've bought a couple from California Car Cover and have been happy with them. They have patterns for just about any car you can imagine, so one for a 1970 Firebird should be no problem.

I also have a California Car Cover, and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks for the feedback. Are these super-soft covers? I need one for the TA and for my ‘67 GTO.

I have a California one as well on my '70 T/A. The pattern they use is spot on with mirror pockets and space for the spoiler.
For the indoor they have 3 or 4 materials to choose from. I have the Stretch Fit with Flannel Lining, and it fits perfect and it super soft. I would highly recommend it. |

my cars sit in a heated garage but it gets dusty for some reason. I bought dust top versions from california car cover. They've done their job and I'm happy with them. about $270 each
