We could meet up and travel up to W. Chester together... any one else can join us. I usually run up thru from Kennett Square on RT 52, but 202 is just as good. I have a short cut I take up thru Yorklyn DE to Kennett Sq.

Gary, Meeting up at 52 would be perfect, its just a straight shot up route 1 for me and would be the way I would go. I will be in touch with you.
As far as the cruise night, I have it marked on my calendar. Hope to see you at the inaugural kickoff! |

Nice show, really enjoyed the H/O exhibit. Some great cars there and certainly didn't miss seeing any Chevys.

I no longer have any "show worthy" cars so came with some friends. Not sure, left before it ended.

Thanks, I was a bit under the weather and left early myself. I was just curious what Pontiacs took the prize.

Gary - saw your car, but never got to say Hi. Hopefully you caught up with Bill G. Some pictures: https://www.facebook.com/pg/AutoFocu...22170904688540 As for Pontiacs : 1st was 71 Lemans Sport Conv, second was '90 Formula 350 We celebrate Hurst/ Olds Day during our show. We had Don Glover, Olds club member and former Hurst engineer, there with his display of pictures, drawings, prototypes and other artifacts and great stories. He helped design the original Hurst/ Olds, many shifters and the JAWS of life in the late 60's to early 70's Glad you enjoyed his display and the 9 H/O's as well. One was the 76 proposal car that Hurst used to pitch to Oldsmobile, but never went into production. We also had a special guest Bill Campbell join, he helped found the company with George Hurst, back when it was known as Hurst-Campbell. Bill now is 92 and lives at a nearby home that brought some residents over to see the cars, complete surprise. A great day all around ! Hope to do it again next year. |

Thanks, I really enjoyed this show. It was about an hour drive to get there which made it even more fun. First time for everything, the guy with the lemans that won wanted to trade me cars as soon as he pulled up. Then I overheard him talking to someone else about trading, AND he was serious! That Formula was a pretty nice car too. I also spent some time talking with Don about Cars n Concepts (which are on my car), very interesting guy.

Glad you had a good time, that's why we do it ! Getting there can be a big part of the fun too.
Which car was yours? Assume was a TA. Mine was the silver 69 442 convertible. The 90 Formula is owned by former Pres of the GTO Club of DE, which we used to co-host this show with back in the mid 2000's at Kahunaville in Wilmington, DE. |
