Medium duty truck trans mating/swap info and ratios
I'm learning about a dt466 and swapping from the MT545 Allison to a manual trans. I think I've learned that medium/heavy duty engines use different sized "clutch housings" to mate to different sized "flywheel housings". These housings are categorized by SAE numbers. I think the MT545 mates to an SAE #3. I found a local 10 speed, a Meritor MO16G10CM16053 for sale. It's probably a #1.
Does anyone know way more about this than I do? Could you teach me? Would anyone have link to gear ratios for the above transmission? (I've googled 'till I'm cross-eyed and confused.)

I'm on a couple truck forums where they might be more knowledgeable.
