another date code thread (fenders)
ok, so I recently was made aware of date codes on fenders;
Has anyone yet deciphered how the date codes work? I saved the fneder toos from (what I presume to have been) my original fenders; I also have a set of '70 Formula Firebird fenders; I was thinking of fixing the mostly (because of rear/bittom rot) fenders, but would appreciate if anyone here knows how the date codes worked. Only one of my old fender tops appears to have a date code, while both of the (latter aqquired) '70 Formula fenders have date codes. Thanks for again humoring one of my posts (the date codes from my "complete" fenders is attached to this post.)

yeah, I was re-reading that thread and a trunklid thread (which turned into a hood date code thread), and although it shows the location, the actual deciphering of the code isn't in either thread...
is the concensus that the date code format is date and month only - with no indication of year?

As far as I know, there is no year on the '70-2's.
