Proper Chassis will allow the HP from the Big Turbo (~117MM) to be used to get the power that they could not use with the other chassis.

When a ~117mm Turbo does not make the car faster vs the 106mm Turbo, you typically have a chassis issue.
Car Looks great John, Rod, and Travis (and of course Rock and the rest of the crew).

Very cool!

Question. I don't know much about turbos. Why no intercooler? Because of the short run time?

Thanks,
Tom Syron

Its most likely on methanol, maybe M5.

It appears to have 4 extra injectors on the charge tube.

I doubt they are trying the Q16 with M1/M5 as an intercooler deal, but they might be.

Kinda surprised it doesn't have a mag or 8 GM heat sink coils to provide the spark.

Nice car, the first gen Firebird is still the best looking pro mod body out there.

Wow , sweet machine, got to see is old car run at Cedar Falls Raceway and it was just nuts how fast it looked. Looks like this one will be way faster, wonder if it will run at CFR? would love to see it run.
