Prayers go out to Ken and family.

Sorry for your loss.

I met Karen and Ken years ago at Butler's Pontiac event in TN. They we're both very nice. I remember Karen raced against the GeeTO Tiger and won.

My memory of Karen will always be how she treated complete strangers (me) like family. That quality is very rare these days.

My condolences to Ken and the family. Just read this today.

We met a few times and yes she was such a genuine lady. And fun.

Rest in peace.

Condolences from the Wallace Family. She was a true Pontiac Fan like Ken. It was great to see them get married at Norwalk.

Best wishes Ken!

Very nice memorial service for Karen this afternoon in Brooksville. It was fun to look at all the pictures of her and Ken at the track together. They were quite a team. Karen's son-in-law also gave a very warm eulogy.
I miss Karen's smile.

Jim

I would like to have gone to the service, but it was just too far away.

It was a beautiful service, for a beautiful person.

Jim it was good to see you, too bad you couldn't stay longer, everyone went to Karen's favorite Chinese buffet for a late lunch. I understand why you needed to leave and I'm sorry for your loss.

Keep Ken in your thoughts, he put on a solid face but you can see the pain beneath the surface.

OMT, the flowers you sent were beautiful!

Special thanks to Jim and Ginny Zeek for making the trip over, you can't ask for two nicer people.

Ok, so I am new to this site and from what I have seen the racing community is a very tight bunch and see why my mom and Ken talk so highly of all of you on this site. I want to thank everyone for speaking such kind words about them both. Dave, I can't say enough for the kind message you wrote about my mom and looking out for Ken. I will miss her smile very much and she always had nothing but kind words to speak about everyone no matter what. I hope as time goes on I get to share stories with those of you who knew her on a personal level. She was an amazing woman and will be missed by all. It will take some time to heal the pain of loosing her, not just us kids but Ken as well. They were soul mates and did everything together. Ken treated her like a queen and showed her a new outlook on life. I will never forget the day my mom wanted to introduce me to Ken for the first time. When she told me how to get to Ken's house I did not put it together till I pulled up in his driveway. See the funny thing was I had known Ken for several years before that day and when I told my mom I knew him all ready we all just started to laugh. I knew then mom had found her soul mate.

The service for Karen was beautiful, all of her loved ones were there, so nice to meet her2 sons, and daughter and the grandchildren, Ken and Danne were so strong, when we walked in and Ken spotted us, he hobbled over to us with is crutches and grabbed us and said how happy he was to see us. So glad we were in Florida to be part of the Pontiac family for Karen. So glad to see David & Paula Their such an awesome couple, you couldn't meet nicer people. We all went for lunch to Karen's favorite Chinese Buffet, and Ken told us that after she ate the Chinese food, she would always have mashed potato's and Ham, so as a tribute to her there was a plate with, what else but mashed potato's and ham sitting at the end of our table in honor of Karen. Thank you again Ken, Danee and all of Karen's children for sharing such a wonderful, always smiling women with so many of us. Love You, Ken and know the Zeek's will always be there for you. Love, Ginny & Jim Zeek
