Unfortunately there are a few that don't know how to use it even though they are old enough to know.

I do not have a problem with "scrolling on by" when I don't want to read something by a particular person, but I will take the other side of this completely!

There is one that (from what I have been told by people that used to be close to him) has never owned an old Poncho or any other collector car for that matter, so I read his posts for "Comedic Relief" He tries to sound knowledgeable on several topics, but you can kind of tell!

God bless
Bill

As with most forums that are topic oriented they are open forums to everyone, wether you have the specific topic or not. I personally viewed and at times participated in this forum before I had Pontiacs, to learn a few things, to ask questions etc. There’s no law that says one must or should have a car on a car forum, or dog or cat on a pet forum, or even do quilting on a sewing forum. Some people simply enjoy being a part of something they may have a true interest in. Keep in mind this is a free forum!

Some forums are a little more tight knit then others. Like a family if you will. We all have those we like, and those we simply do not care for. This forum is one of the tight knit forums I’m referring to. Very eager to help each other, go the extra mile literally for fellow members who may have personal issues, or just need to hang out and chat it up like we do here in the Lobby.

On occasion topics go South that’s just the nature of the beast, and we all need to check ourselves now and then and keep it real.

umm, I'm pretty sure it's been bred out from many people these days - just 'the people of walmart' should be proof enough!

The online forum software I've seen doesn't usually allow you to not see threads started by ignored forum members. It is what it is.

It's amusing to me that people that absolutely don't care....post 3-4 times on a thread they don't have any value for.
There is always "that guy" on every forum.

Well, there's my answer. Since I've never "ignored" anyone else on another forum, I had no idea. I just expected that an "ignored" person would have no presence on my viewing of the Forum.

Too bad.

One of the worst things you can do is let someone get to you.

I followed that trail yesterday and had the same conclusion.
To the OP, I suggest the following.

Ehhh. We fought once. Wasn't even much of a battle.

Keep guessing if you must, but I'm done giving clues. This isn't about fighting or retaliation or anger. It's about ignoring.

I'm the author of the comment in Mr. Shurkey's signature.
I have no disrespect to Mr. Shurkey; and I regret making the comment.
Just blasting off in anger and disappointment at my fellow Pontiac-ers for criticizing instead of helping with something so simple.
I never give advise and I think twice about asking questions now.
This is not the friendly community that it used to be.
Fire away...
