Default Is this a real Trans AM?

VIN tag shows 50 50 paint code which I thought designated Trans AM.

D80 is not definitive, there were a few variations.

PHS invoice is definitive.

Correct and it also had a red interior And there was only one Trans Am in 69 built with the red interior and this car is not it

They all had the spoiler, the cowl tags may not show the 'D80' on it.

D180 was a scheduled build date. D was the fourth day of the build month and 180 was the 180’th car built on that day.

Curious then, how would anyone know this is NOT a TA without PHS?

You wouldn't technically.
A TA would have specific items to make it a TA.
But anyone can add the pieces to make it look like a TA. That's why PHS is so great for us Pontiac people, it will show what the car/VIN really is.
With Chevy's one can make a SS Chevelle and no one can disprove it basically.

Trim Tag AEE is for decor group. If a TA it would read AEED80.

Here's an image of my 69TA trim tag with decor group.

Is there any evidence of a Norwood built car not having D80 on the tag of a 69 TA?

They probably didn't make many TAs in SoCal because of the UAW strike. And then they closed down all the Cali plants after and only made them in the east right?

Hmm. Not many. I'D heard that production of the 70s was so delayed because they had to retool so much. I thought they moved it all back east after the strike in 69. Guess not.
