Default ‘71 pads and rotors

Time to redo front brakes again on my original owner ‘71. What are the best OEM equivalent pads to use.? This car is rarely driven and never “in anger”, so I don’t need Rickey Racer or autocross level pads. Biggest concern is no dry scraping/squealing sounds. Car has 110,000 miles and don’t believe I’ll need new rotors, but if I do what’s the best OEM quality rotor available? I’ve read all about slotted, cross drilled, yada, yada rotors, but all this stuff is overkill for how I use my car. I also realize there is a lot of “off shore” stuff being sold today that leaves much to be desired from a quality standpoint, so looking to avoid that as well.

One last question. Just for the hell of it, I tried to look up part numbers for pads and rotors in my 1971 Pontiac Parts and Accessory Catalog dated 3-1-71, but couldn’t find anything listed for either part in the Index or the Hydraulic Brake Control section 4.500 or anywhere else in the whole book. What am I missing? Does anybody have GM part numbers for these pads and rotors?

I like Raybestos EHT. No to very little dust, stop good, no squeal.

My bad, it was too late at night/morning. I got this from an online MPC. Googled 3901098 and it showed repops of the original 2 piece rotors with that 3901098 part number.

5.809 HUB AND BRAKE DISC ASSEMBLY

Best rotor. The ones you have if there still in spec. Find a local shop that still turns rotors and have them resurfaced when you replace the pads. Don't forget to check your brake hoses for cracks and clean or replace the caliper hardware.

I don't like the soft pads that are cheap, to much brake dust on the wheels for me.

Default ‘71 pads androtors

Yes, I will be doing everything possible to keep original parts like rotors. The brake hoses, caliper hardware, etc. has been replaced.
