Default NOS RAM AIR V HOLLEY? List 4546

I bought this recently and all I can find is maybe this is a ram air V tunnel port 303 Holley? Any insight would be helpful. It has ink stamps ALLLLLL over it and my buddy said he’s owned well over 3500 Holley carbs and has NEVER seen one with ink stamps on em. They usually disappear after the first time you run em. So NOS?

I have one right now, have owned a few of them.Unique throttle arm that has a bracket that bolts to it with a arm for the throttle stop solenoid.Has diff boosters than the 4545 400 carb, not as desired either but for a V guys they sometimes dont care..They only made 25 303 of the SCCA engines.Tom

Tom, does yours have ink stamps like mine? I saw somewhere that there might only be a couple dozen or so out there. Gonna take the right guy to want/need one. Pretty much just eye candy for the display shelf. Well unless I decide to toss it on my 69 Trans Am

Build a engine for the TA with my heads and your carb. You would need to find a intake. The McCarty intake will work also.I ran one on my TA clone.Tom

No I mean just toss it on the trans am engine lol. It’s got an 850 demon on it right now and seems to like it just fine. That acc pump might be a bit much though

ALL NOS carbs had the ink stamp I have seen.Early engineering carbs had the numbers etched in the front of the air horn.Remember that is a 303 carb.400 carb is 4545 for stick shift and 4486 for autos.Tom

While we're on the subject of RAV carburetors, I have a 4545 that I would trade for a 4486 in the same condition.

Look at it this way........as many V motors that you build, just hang onto them for the next dyno session. I'm sure your gears are already turning for the next project!!!
