I believe this dealer is in Oak Lawn Illinois at about 93rd St. and Cicero. This building is still there and is now called Haggerty Pontiac GMC Buick (soon to be just GMC Buick).

That dealership was actually located in Camden, NJ
on Admiral Wilson Blvd.
The building is still there, its now an Enterprise rental car agency

This was the Pontiac dealership in my home town of Palmer, MA - used to sell some hot cars, Judges & SD TA's included. Self storage and a tranny shop now.

Not surprising there were two identical buildings/layouts. Some of these dealerships were built using the same plans from the same designer like the fast food joints, motels and just about every other franchise starting then and continuing to the present day.

I've been looking on the HAMB site recently...some great shots in their Vintage Photo thread. I'll post a few from there and some other Australian ones I've found.

*Forgot to add that the Bob Longpre shot looks like it was taken from the opposite side of the yard, facing towards the front of the two 65's in the first post in this thread.

The last few are of Sydney N.S.W. Dealer, Stack and Co, that Roadster is/was RARE!!
What an awesome showroom display. Has anyone seen the movie Mr Smith goes to Washington? Did a 40 Roadster star in it?

My Dad remembers looking/drooling at brand new 63's at Stacks, a Bonnie and a GP.

*Just to clarify, that first pic is inside a US Dealers showroom, not Stacks.

Orr Pontiac on Mill Street in Springfield, MA took over the Pontiac name when Gary Center Pontiac closed in the late 80's. Orr didn't survive the last round of cuts and closed it's doors last year.

Another old Aussie Dealership...Those Holdens are 48-215's...better known as FX. No details on the location of this one. The plates look like old Victorian plates though.
