Default 67 Lemans evap box delete?

My car has a lot of rust where water ran down the cowl, past the AC core and onto the pass side floor. I pulled the evaporator box and kick panel to fix the damage. Is there a block-off plate available to block the hole on the firewall where the AC core would go?

What did the non-AC cars have there?

I'm not aware of any plates for the large Evop box area,
just the blower box and heater core plate are what most vendors offer.

You will need to fab your own plate(s)

None AC shown below

You'll have to fabricate a plate for the firewall AND also a plate to cover the kick panel hole inside the car or you'll have a hurricane of wind coming through there when the car is moving. You can't easily install a cowl ventilation flap like the non-AC cars have due to the different sheet metal in the body (and that's what makes it difficult to retrofit factory AC into non-AC '64-'67s).

Did you cut the cowl out and weld that blocker piece in?
