Took my old one in to a local part store and matched it up with one they carry for modern stuff
only problem was had to use different nuts. Been posted here before in the 64 section. Mine worked great.

For 1964

Based on some of the older forum discussions, I evaluated some of the modern store bought clips and found them unsatisfactory in terms of replicating what was used originally.
Give me your address and I'll ship you the installation kit. Just let me know what all you will need, ie: Pal nuts (6), blank studs (6), end screw mounting clips (2). Unfortunately I do not have 2 extra stainless steel Philip head screws used at the end of the molding, and you are on your own for those. Failure to use these two screws may result in the damage to your paint on the rear trunk panel.

Aint gonna happen.

Just PM me your mailing address and I'll get these in the mail.

It appears that you only need the 6 Pal nuts and the 6 studs.

ejgoat,

Did you ever receive the stud/clips and Pal nuts? They were mailed out a couple of months ago, and you should have received them by now.
