I was wondering how the vacum advance hose is routed on a 66 tri power? Is it routed to a vacum port on the back of the center carb. Should it routed throgh ported vacum??

I tried to up load sams failed will send you an e mail the dist vacuum is ported off the carb with a reduction T port

Pic is a friends 66 it looks like the vacuum is taken off the stud on the rear carb even thought the sams I sent you show all three years the same . they were GM bulitins too

pic is a 64 but 65 would be the same auto only 64 standard and auto would be like this at least until may this is an original April set up for a 4 speed

so per this info my friends is not correct and has an A/C stud he's using instead of the correct T

If you take the "Bible" to be final answer. Somewhere it also says all tri 66's cam with the a/c stud even if no a/c,so buy a tee and plug the stud.?

Thanks for the replies.... So vacum is basically routed off a port in the back of the center carb and the vacum is not ported off the manifold.
