I have a 73 TA with a 4 speed, all matching numbers. I have a kickdown switch on the gas peddle of my vehicle (why?). I purchased a complete repro. shaker assembly (2 solenoids) from Ames to make my shaker functional. I'd like to use this existing kickdown switch for activation instead of the throttle assembly switch supplied. Anyone know where the pink and orange wires are going and how I can wire it in? I can't tell from my Assembly Manual wiring diagram.

All my componets are aftermarket and are available through PY including the brackets which I assume are not exactly like originals.

some cars made in LA had a switch for the TH400 in place by fisherbody before the pedals and stuff were installed . The assembler obviously just installed them without looking at the big build ticket hanging on the car, or couldnt read it. This may have happened in OH as well, Norwood.
This was made to work , or nearly at WOT, with limited adjustment, the switch up top will alow you to see inside your shaker for a wider range I believe. I have a 71 complete set up, now im gonna dig it out and look at it again, I like the fact the repops have the twin solenoids now. I think the orange is power ( unsure on the acuracy of the repop stuff though )
