Default Data Plate question

Looking for information on this " ~ " tilde symbol before 10 10 paint code on my 1970 Judge. It is a WT7 car and not sure if this could relate to that or something else? Pontiac assembly plant 2nd week of January.

Can you post a pic of the tag?
Don't have any examples that I know of.

Thanks for the pic!

PY has a size limit on pics is probably why it didn't post.
I lowered size.

I wonder if the tilde' is because your car is a WT7?
Very interested in finding out if that is true.
Don't think I have any other pics of WT7 tags.
(from Pontiac plant)

Do you have the PHS on it?

I do have the PHS but WT7 does not show up on those. Definitely not a glob of paint. It is pressed in from the back side and position of it does not look random.

Interesting; Do you have the build sheet confirming WT7?

No luck finding build sheet yet. Not sure of normal location on vehicles from Pontiac assembly plant.

On top of the fuel tank.

Also - potentially under the carpet, behind the door trim panels, above the headliner, under the instrument panel pad.

Thank you! Nothing on fuel tank, under carpet, or door panels. Have not looked above headliner or instrument panel pad yet though.

I've had 2 real wt7 cars in the past with buildsheet and neither car had that in front of the 10's. They would not put that mark there anyway just for painting a spoiler black

I did with no luck so far. Two other people said they had seen that before but did not remember what car or what it meant.

Were they Pontiac plant cars?

Being a 'rare' option, possibly Fisher wanted to make sure someone didn't put a body color spoiler on it?
(if it is indeed a stamp in the tag)
