I had a vibration in my 67 for about 3 years at 45 mph and I finally got tired of it and thought it was the driveshaft out of balance. When I removed the driveshaft I could see where the yoke was all chewed up. Showed it to my transmission guy and he said that the tail house bushing was bad and the driveshaft was out of balance. Come to find out 3 years ago when I had a transmission rebuild and a new yoke put on the driveshaft, the guy used a hammer to drive the u joints apart and he dented the driveshaft and they couldn't balance it. so $600 later and a new driveshaft my vibration is now gone to. Never had the vibration before and didn't take it back to the first guy. Lesson learned, if it doesn't feel right, take it back until it does.
