Default Help - Power Window Switch Location Rear Armrest Convertible 67

I am looking for pictures or identification of the proper location for stock power window switches on the rear armrest of a 67 Lemans / GTO convertible.
I believe the rear armrest switch for the convertible is mounted in the stamped metal cutout located on the rear armrest- near the ashtray cutout. Is this where the stock power window switch is suppose to be located? Can you send photos?
I have a complete original set of Power windows (all wiring, regulators and switches) I will be selling and I want to instruct the buyer on the correct stock location for the rear arm rest switches in the convertible.
I also posted this request in the interior section and have not received any comments so I thought I would post it here also.

Thanks Jeff,
The photo you attached verified the info needed. Thank you.
I know the wiring runs through the ribbon cable to the rear below the driver seat along the floor - can you help me as to where does it enter the quarter panels to access the rear regulators and arm rest location for the switch.
Thanks for your help.
Mark

The end of the ribbon comes out in the trunk -- driver-side, upper-corner. I'll see if I still have a picture of it. That's where it connects to all of the rear lights, and also to the wires for your courtesy lights, which should be orange. My guess is the power for the switch takes the same route from the trunk down behind the boot/rear door panel on each side, and connects to the switch through the armrest. Good luck.

Sorry for my delay in response - I was up Northern Minnesota enjoying what appears to be my last weekend of riding snowmobiles in gods country. It was great.

Thanks Charles, Jeff and all. This is great information on and what I needed to inform on proper placement of the original wire harness.
Does the wiring for the curtesy lights in the armrest for the convertible follow the same path as the power window wiring?
Thanks
You guys have been very helpful.

You are most welcome.

I just don't know about the convertible wiring.

My guess would be that the courtesy light wiring (orange and white, I believe) would follow the same path on each side. The roof-rail courtesy lights on my hardtop came off of the round rear-lights harness in the trunk and ran up through the 'C' pillar. I imagine that the convertible is powered the same way, but routed forward instead of up. Based on a look at the Fig. 16-1 picture (p. 16-2 in the manual chapter that Jeff posted), it would seem that a convertible with power windows has TWO flat ribbons: one that powers the rear lights and directions, and a separate one that runs to the back and transitions to round and splits under the back seat, as in the picture I posted before. Hope this helps.
Kerm

Thank you boltbuster,
You are correct - the courtesy light wiring is orange and white. It is fed from a separate ribbon cable that runs with a second ribbon cable for the power windows. The 2 ribbon cables (combined with the purple/grey wire for the power top) are wrapped in a rubber sheath that runs along the driver floor from the front (underdash harness) to the rear (as the picture shows). My question is do the wires run together from the ribbon cables (after they split to round) to the armrest cavities? I assume that the orange and white wire for the courtesy lights run together with the power window wires from the ribbon cables to the rear armrest cavities (left and right).
If anyone has actual closeup photos of both driver and passenger side location under the rear seat for convertible- that would be helpful.
Thank you all for your help- you are a wealth of knowledge.
Mark
