Default Push Rod Question

Good Day All

Acquiring parts to do head swap on a '66 389. Current heads are 093, future heads will be 670's.

What is the push rod length that I'm looking for?
Also, any brand preference on rocker assemblies?

Thanks to all who respond

All 1,5 to 1 Pontiac rocker arms are the same from 1963 to 1979 as long as they have the oil holes in the pocket for the push rod. Some early ones still oiled through the rocker studs and won't have the hole. The push rods I believe are 9.145 inches long unless you have RAIV ones. If you want to replace them you can up grade to a roller tipped rocker. Unless you are racing I see no need to go to a full roller rocker.

Rocker arms are NOT the same 1963-1979.
1967 1:st design and all 1966 or earlier rocker arms are shorter than 1967 2:nd design or later due to the revised angle of the valve stems.
