Default Sprint Throttle Bracket

Wondering if anyone out there has a throttle bracket for a Sprint that they'd like to part with. Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for the part on the carb or intake for a 68-69 cable?

Default 1968 sprint Throttle cable bracket

This is the bracket that is on our 68 Firebird Sprint 3 speed . The car is all original. is this the only one they used or were there 2 different ones - automatic and manual ?

That one is different from the ones I’ve seen in the past. I’ve never seen one that has the lower part on it. Was that an A/C car?

Default Throttle bracket

It is used for the automatic kick down. Got this picture off the OHC Facebook group. Do you have a picture of one without the kick down . What year are you building ?

The Bracket with the Kickdown mount was used in some 69 Firebird Automatics with the optional TH350 3-speed automatic, very rare part. All other years that used the ST300 2-speed Automatic did not use that Bracket.

Default Throttle Bracket

Our all original 68 Firedbird Sprint 3 speed has the bracket and the bell crank that goes with it. Was there a manual bracket and bell crank as well? Put car is a 2 owner numbers matching with all paperwork and maintenance records.

As far as I know the only throttle differences are 66-69 A-Body all the same, 67 F-Body used totally different throttle linkage as they used a throttle rod not a cable, and then the 68-69 Firebirds, the manual trans cars used the same brackets as the 66-69 A-Bodies, and the automatic cars may have used the one with the kick down cable attachment for the TH-350 trans. I have never owned a 68 OHC-6 F or A Body, so I don't have direct knowledge of what they used.

Hopefully Jeff can come up with some Pictures.

And yes that last picture is what I am used to seeing as a throttle cable bracket
